I don't know what it is, but lately covertunes by bands that are really far removed from the original tune seem to be my favorite things to listen to lately. Probably backlash from too much Karaoke.... if you're going to do a terrible song, then figure out a way to make it interesting.

Man... that "This is It" hits disc has some great tunes on it.

I'm seriously impressed at how great his voice is on Easy.... he's got a great range (I should have already realized that from Last Cup of Sorrow). Falling to Pieces reminds me of Living Color.... I really like the sound of Ashes to Ashes.

What are more Patton tracks I should check out?

I love Faith No More...Angel Dust is one of my favorite albums. Tomahawk is a fucking awesome band too.

And I believe Mr. Bungle is one of Mike Patton's oldest projects...I know they predate Mike joining FNM...

With The Police being one of my all time favorite bands... I quickly looked up the Machine Head version.

A slow but cool vibe... I really like the version I found by Rolf Munkes.....

    Lots of weedly-weedly guitar.

    But....

    Then....
